I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
