The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the party reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
